North Twin Annual Drawdown

With the Labor Day holiday approaching, Great Lakes Hydro America, LLC will soon begin its annual deliberate drawdown of water levels in the North Twin Impoundment, including North Twin, South Twin, Pemadumcook, Elbow, and Ambajejus Lakes.

Water level reductions may vary on a daily basis depending on weather conditions and power generation demands. Recreational users, camp owners, and others utilizing the impoundment should plan boat removals and other water-dependent activities accordingly.
